Running for Noffs
Story
They say a journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step. Often times that first single step is the hardest and we all need help and support to take that step from time to time.
For many young people who are struggling with a drug and alcohol issues that first step is PALM.
Ted Noffs Foundation has a program called Palm which is a 3 month residential treatment and rehabilitation program for young people 13-18. Not only is it safe drug free environment, but young people also engage in 1 on 1 counselling and teach them valuable skills they needs to recover and become confident and productive members of society.
PALM is staffed by a dedicated and hardworking team from The Ted Noffs Foundation, and while they are making a huge impact on the lives of these young people, they cannot do it alone. The Ted Noffs relies on donations to help make this impact.
That’s why I’m running in the Colour Run. Our goal is to raise as much money as we can to help change lives. Please help me by sponsoring us in the Colour Run. All donations, big or small will help me to help these young people get a better start in life.

Ted Noffs Foundation
Ted Noffs Foundation supports young people in need and their families to overcome barriers to a full and happy life, gain equitable access to essential services, and connect meaningfully with their community. Each year, thousands of young people access Noffs for health, welfare, accommodation, education, and employment support.
We care for these young people by providing residential rehabilitation services (for complex drug and alcohol and mental health needs), school counselling and out-reach services, and through the Street University – a free centre which engages young people in educational, recreational, and arts-based programs.
Our goal is to assist young people to become healthy and well-adjusted members of society. All our programs are designed to equip young people with the skills they need to better manage their own lives; in essence - we help them, help themselves!
